DONATIONS DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc. (“us”, “we”, or the “Company”) provide this Donations Data Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) to all applicants, recipients, and successful participants (collectively referred to in this Notice as “organizations”) of the Company’s donation program (“Program”) who reside in the State of California (“you”).

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the information we collect and to being transparent about the purposes for which we use your information. As contemplated in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (“CCPA”), this Notice describes how we collect and use your information as part of the Program. Any capitalized terms not defined in this Notice shall have the same meaning as used in the CCPA. We do not sell or share any of the personal information that we collect. 1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

When an organization applies to the Program, we may collect the following categories of organization and personal information. We collect and use this information only as permitted or required by, and in compliance with, applicable law.

1.1. Contact Information, including name, alias and other names, organization name, email address, telephone or mobile phone number, physical address, mailing address and EIN number of the organization.

1.2. Device Information, including online or device identifiers, Internet or other electronic network activity information such as browsing and search history and information regarding interactions with websites and applications, our systems, and networks;

1.3. Organization Related Information, including association to the Company, mission statement of the organization, specifics on how a donation, if awarded, would be used, what type of impact it will make in the community, how many people will benefit from the request, what type of request you would like (e.g. event sponsorship, financial grant, cheese donation, auction/raffle gift box or advertisement).

1.4. Geolocation Data, including place of residence.


2. Purposes for Which Personal Information Is Collected

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

2.1. Determine Donation. Determining your organization’s eligibility for donation, including processing the application, assessing the organization’s fit with the Program, and keeping records related to our Program;

2.2. Data Security. Protecting the Company against illegal activity and other misconduct, which may include by detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity;

2.3. Analytics. Undertaking activities to verify and maintain the quality, safety, and performance of our products and services, which may include product and service testing, research, and development;

2.4. Legal. Complying with our legal obligations, including those related to tax and anti-discrimination laws; and

2.5. Other. Other routine business purposes.

3. Information Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purposes for which it was obtained and consistent with applicable law. The criteria we consider to determine our retention period includes:

3.1. Duration of Relationship. The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with your organization;

3.2. Legal Obligation. Whether there is a legal, regulatory, or statutory obligation to which we are subject; or

3.3. Other. Other circumstances as they may relate to your organization’s relationship with the Company.


4. CCPA Rights

We will provide you with reasonable access to your personal information. You have the right to know what information we have collected, the right to delete certain personal information, the right to correct your personal information, and the right to stop your personal information from being sold or shared as appropriate under applicable law. Further, you will have all rights and privileges afforded by the CCPA. Under no circumstances will the Company discriminate against you if you elect to exercise any rights or make a request for your personal information. 5. Minor Children

We take our obligations to the data and privacy of minors seriously. If you notify us that you provided information of an individual under the age of 16 years old, the Company will not sell the personal information of such individual. The Company will only share or sell the information of an individual under the age of 16, if the parent or guardian has affirmatively authorized such data practices.
